[SBM] Merpig Mod is one of the Mobs Categories alongside Cosmetic, Player Transport, Adventure and RPG in Minecraft Mod and creates on Apr 7, 2018. This mod is designed and developed by BuiltBroken.
Merpig is a very simple mod that adds a water version of the pig. This mob will spawn randomly in the world in oceans and deep oceans. The mob can swim around in the water and be saddled as a mount. Using a ‘seagrass on a stick’ item the merpig can be steered around.
This mod was made at the request of Finemanederby. The idea was to create a water mount for the game. With 1.13 adding water creatures it was sad to hear they couldn’t be ridden. To solve this the mod was created as a proof of concept in 1.12.
