Streams Mod 1.12.2/1.10.2/1.7.10 has already rolled out many rivers that can flow in the game, with a true current. Get ready to learn about their features and create them!
Main Features of Streams Mod
These real flowing rivers can appear in the world using custom non-decaying flowing blocks.
Note that they are much bigger than anything that somebody in Minecraft could generate with buckets.
They are able to originate from various sources. They will move down alongside the terrain. Slops or waterfalls cannot block them.
Especially, they will join together into a wider river or more before they reach the sea.
Remember that they will cause enchanting canyons and rapids while moving!
Besides, you should keep in mind that the vanilla MC terrain generator owns low average altitudes! That can set rather flat rivers. Hence, you’d better select a custom generator that will provide higher average elevations. They may be RWG or ATG.
Streams is a biomes mod that requires Minecraft Forge and the Farseek API.
