More Overlays Mod 1.14.4/1.12.2/1.10.2 begins to provide you some overlays from NotEnoughItems (NEI). It’s currently simple for you to perfect your structures with these new convenient layers!
It is a cool client-side mod that allows you to use a few unique items. They are useful to improve and complete your buildings fast.

Chunk Boundaries (F7)
Light Level or Mob spawns (16 block range) (F9)
Item search (after installing JEI) )double click on the JEI Search Field)
In v0.5 or above, it’s feasible to adjust the in-game config. For example:
On the Main Screen: Mods -> MoreOverlays -> Config
On the Pause Menu: Mod Options… -> MoreOverlays -> Config [Not working in Minecraft 1.14.x since “Mod Options…” is missing in the pause menu]
Mob Spawns / Light Level
Displays a yellow X on the cube whenever the monster appears at night. Or, shows a red X when spawns are always within reach.
Have three modes. Point out red lines in the corner with a yellow line in the center.
From the 2. mode, there is a green grid on the edge.
From the 3. mode, the green grid outlines a Minecraft or cubic chunks area. Additionally, it will reveal the matching zone save the file in the top left corner (since v1.15.0 for MC 1.12.2)
Only runs if JEI is set out.
After v1.10, please double click on the JEI Search bar to turn it on!

How to install More Overlays Mod:
Assure that you have already installed Minecraft Forge
Define the location of the Minecraft application folder.
On the windows, open Run from the Start Menu, write %appdata% and click to Run
Open Mac on the finder, press and hold Alt and click to Library on the peak of the Menu Bar. Open the Application Support directory and look for Minecraft.
Put More Overlays Mod you have already downloaded (.jar) into Mods directory.
When you start using Minecraft, open the mod button, you will realize that More Overlays Mod has been set up.
