Waila (What Am I Looking At) Mod 1.11.2/1.10.2/1.7.10 has improved the UI so as to offer blocks’ information directly in-game. It’s doable without opening any UI!
It is a UI improvement release. From now on, you can see and know the data of a block in Minecraft.
It contains a small and compact tooltip on the top of the screen. It includes the info about the cube that the player is looking at.
There is a strong API that is available to launch. Modders can add their own description about their chunks to it.
Besides, it is an extension for NEI. It’ll display in the tooltip what mod an item comes from. It’s not hard to parse objects per mods because the utility has the mod name.
Tooltips will operate out of the box in the NEI interface.
There are two key bindings.
From the config, you can reset the key that can make the menu appear. You can rummage this section to explore more.
